This window paints a picture of rural life by a lakeside. The window is based on the

post-resurrection appearance of Christ at the lakeside where, having directed the disciples to throw their nets to the other side of the boat, they are able to pull in a huge catch. After breakfast with them he calls upon Peter to “Feed my sheep.” Christ is portrayed as the Good Shepherd who having laid down is life is now encouraging Peter to look after believers in the same way.

As minister, Professor Forrest must have been a fine example of one who truly looked after his congregation. The window is based on John 21 v 17.
