  • Gift Aid – If making a bank transfer or posting a cheque you can make your donation go further by ticking the Gift Aid option. Gift Aid is a Government run scheme that allows us to reclaim the tax on your donation. Membership

Membership is open to anyone who has an interest in supporting the work of the Centre. To thank you for your generosity and give recognition to the support you are providing to our caring services, our members receive the following benefits:

  • Being eligible to nominate and elect members to the board of trustees

  • An invitation to our AGM and a chance to directly impact the work what we do

  • Newsletters and updates

  • Invitations to receptions and key events

  • Early bird booking offers for events

  • 10% discount on room hire

  • 10% discount off selected ELC events

  • 10% discount at our Community Café

Business Member

You can also register your company as a Business Member of the Eric Liddell Centre.

As a Business Member, your organisation will be entitled to:-

  • 10% discount in our café for your staff- enjoy our homemade soups, salads and tray-bakes

  • Recognition within the Centre – your business name displayed our facility

  • 15% discount on any catering orders that are placed with room hires (coffees, teas, snacks, lunches etc.)

  • Invitation to our annual Business Networking Event

  • Dementia Awareness Training – a 90 minute session for up to 10 staff led by our Dementia Ambassador. Upon completion, we will provide a certificate for you to display in your premises

Organisations

Community organisations can also be members of the Centre.

Your organisation will be entitled to:-

  • Dementia Awareness Training – a 90 minute session for up to 10 staff led by our Dementia Ambassador. Upon completion, we will provide a certificate for you to display in your building.

  • 15% discount on any catering orders that are placed with room hires (coffees, teas, snacks, lunches etc.)

  • Invitation to our annual Business Networking Event

  • Recognition within the Centre – your business, name displayed on our digital display

Fundraise for us!

Are you training for a charity event?  Would you like to raise money for a great cause and give yourself a fitness target too?  We are very grateful to the volunteer fundraisers who raise money on our behalf.  For more information about how you might get involved, please email us for more information.

Virtual Kiltwalk 2020 - Join #TeamLiddell

The Eric Liddell Centrecwould like to invite you to don some tartan and help #TeamLiddell raise funds at the Virtual Kiltwalk 2020 over the weekend 11th-13th September 2020.

The KiltWalk was started by Sir Tom Hunter and is totally managed for all the represented Charities by everydayhero. The 2020 Kiltwalk is a little different in that each of us take part at home or outside in a way we each choose.

Help us celebrate 40 years of the Eric Liddell Centre

As this year is our 40th Anniversary we’re suggesting you choose an activity based around 4, 40, 400 or 4000! Why not try one of these ideas?

  • Walk, Run, Cycle, Scooter or Roller Skate 40m, 400m, 4km or around your garden, park or block 4, 40 or 400 times
  • Kick 4, 40, 400 football or rugby goals
  • Shoot 4, 40, 400 netball or basketball hoops
  • Dance for 4 or 40 minutes
  • Try 4, 40, 400 Cartwheels, Skips, StarJumps or Trampoline Jumps….

There’s something for everyone young and old.

With everyone free to choose their own activity, it’s easier than ever to get involved. For example, one #TeamLiddell member is going to walk from home to the Eric Liddell Centre each day over the weekend 11th-13th September which will total 4 miles.
