Our Music Therapist, Chloe Hughes is delighted to let you know that we have two new music groups on offer at the Eric Liddell Centre:
Music Playlist Point: Tuesday 1:30-2:30pm from the 7th of September
Do you have any favourite records, tapes, CDs or sheet music at home? We would love to see and hear any collections that you may have, and would like to share in a group setting.
Our Music Playlist Point is a space in which attendees can enjoy listening to music together, while connecting and interacting with other group members. It can also be used if you require any guidance in accessing digital or online musical resources on your own personal devices.
We can share valuable information and resources provided by our friends at “Playlist for Life” about the positive effects of personal playlists for people who are living with dementia and their carers.
Music & Singing Group: Wednesday 2:30-3:30 pm from the 8th of September
Our Music & Singing Group is a relaxed, open space where attendees can enjoy singing and playing music together.
There will be various percussion instruments to explore, and a selection of songs prepared each week with lyrics provided.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Please note that both of these groups will be facilitated in a blended format – on offer both in-person and via Zoom – following current local government COVID-19 restrictions and safety measures.

Please note that sessions will resume from the week beginning 17th January 2022.
